Youth Sunday
Sunday December 14, 2014 our youth will lead us in worship. We will continue to prepare for the birth of Christ and receive a wonderful perspective of faith. Hope to see you there!
Worship News!
Beginning July 20th we are going to explore what it means to be the church in 2014 and beyond. Each week during worship we will learn, work, and discuss what this shifting culture is and what it can mean for us as Christians – as people of the resurrection. We will study together with a series led by our General Minister and President – Rev. Dr. Sharon Watkins over four weeks through August 10th. The 4 week series is called The Landscape for Mission: A Short Study of our context in the 21st century. It will also help us to prepare for the Disciples Leadership Conference held August 23rd.
Here’s the thing though – for this to be beneficial we need ALL of your voices. We need you to come and join in this discussion because without you we won’t be able to move forward as the Body of Christ. Whether you’re young, old, in between or young at heart your voice and your input is important as we go through this process of preparing and equipping ourselves for ministry in the future. I hope you will make a commitment to join in worship each week from July 20th through August 10th so we can be the body together!
